Ebonee is a brand protection attorney, strategist and educator working at the intersection of entertainment, sports and intellectual property, helping creators, artists and athletes build brands that reflect vision and values with the long game in mind. Her work is rooted in clarity, intention and the belief that legal strategy should empower rather than intimidate.
After an educational summer spent in Hollywood and at University of California, Los Angeles, paired with a lifelong need to understand the “why” behind every transaction and relationship, Ebonee attended Jackson State University before continuing on to University of Mississippi School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She also holds a Master of Laws in Entertainment, Arts and Sports from University of Miami School of Law.
Ebonee gained early exposure to the entertainment industry as a paralegal and law clerk for Atlanta’s leading independent film and television production company. She later transitioned to a Los Angeles-based boutique entertainment law practice, where she was introduced to the world of music law and artist representation. Today, she continues to build a multifaceted portfolio of experience, drawing on her prior work supporting the legal department of a Fortune 500 company while serving as Managing Attorney of Acuity Law, a boutique entertainment, sports and brand protection law practice. She also works as production counsel on independent films and projects and advises emerging entertainers, athletes and creatives across disciplines on legal and business strategy.
Beyond traditional legal practice, Ebonee has expanded her personal brand into EEnobe, a platform where law meets lifestyle and bold ideas are protected, explored and brought to life. Through EEnobe, she shares legal insight, creative strategy and personal storytelling for modern professionals navigating ownership, identity and growth. The platform reflects her belief in the Professional Human ethos, the idea that success should never require the erasure of humanity.
Ebonee is also the founder of Pretty Little Lawyer®, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to equipping Black and minority girls with the confidence, connections and clarity to view the law as a pathway to purpose. Through events, mentorship, scholarships and storytelling, Pretty Little Lawyer celebrates the whole human behind the title and encourages young women to pursue excellence without sacrificing balance. The mission is simple but powerful: build leaders, not just lawyers.
Her guiding philosophy is one she often shares with clients and friends alike:
“Keep in mind, you are a brand. Be sensitive about your rights.”
It is more than an Ebonee-ism. It is a reminder that protection, strategy and self-awareness are essential to building something that lasts.
When she is not creating pathways to bring bold ideas to life, Ebonee enjoys the theatrical arts, watching/attending football games (especially Jackson State, Thee I Love) and spending time with family and friends.
